How to turn snow into money: simple advice

This view from my window this morning inspired an investment idea for you

My partner Marta LOVES the snow. Where she comes from in Puglia, right down in the heel of the boot in Italy they don’t get any.

Having escaped from my clutches in business, she now has a proper job – in investment

The question is, what should you invest in?

I know nothing about finance, so I have always invested in something I do know a little about.

Myself.

This simple policy has produced quite a few quid over the years, even though I’m a business idiot.

Maybe you will do as well if you join me – and learn from Claude Hopkins – the best copywriter and marketer who ever lived.

What kind of dividend does such an investment pay?

Well, I know one firm well that has built a business many times larger than their nearest competitors. They deal in billions – and they began by following the principles in just two chapters of Claude’s book (about six pages).

These are mercifully simple principles you can apply. And the principles I applied.

So if it’s cold outside, don’t just hope a reindeer will come and help you. Why not do a little smart investing?

But what if it’s warm or just raining?

Same thing. Invest in yourself. The weather may change. The principles of success don’t.

I mentioned inspiration earlier.

I am listening to Aretha Franklin singing as I write this.

I don’t know about you, but whenever I come across somebody who is superlatively good, it inspires me.

If you aren’t inspired by Claude Hopkins, you’re probably in the wrong game.

But if you are, maybe you too can sit in your fleecy dressing gown, look out at the snow – and write something that will make good money.

Now I’m listening to Miles Davis.

Your upsell page must be swamped, as i can’t get to it to place my order.

  2. Probably the best investment I’ve made this weekend and a surprisingly modest amount as well!

  3. And I couldn’t help thinking of Drayton’s wise words when I noticed this item “How one man is trying to get a nation of tea-lovers to drink coffee” http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-21051226 . I wish him well but I think he would be more successful if he could listen to Drayton!
