Wanted: Just one client to work with Drayton and his first-ever copy cub

If you read my ramblings you know Drayton regularly interferes with and reviews ‘Young Birds’ copy.  

But he doesn’t normally deal directly with clients – that’s my job. 

Indeed, he now only writes copy for projects he feels very strongly about – like charities. 

As you may know although Drayton trained some of the world’s most successful writers he has never taken on a Copy Cub before and does not plan to again. 

So this is the first and last time I can offer you this opportunity. What will it cost? 

A fraction of what it would be if Drayton did everything himself. Depending on your brief, the absolute minimum fee would be £2,000 (or $2,500). 

He would prefer a more substantial challenge – a campaign, not just a one-off copy job. 

And just to be clear you’ll be dealing with Drayton throughout, not the Cub. 

And Drayton will be involved at every stage from briefing to writing the copy and analysing the results.
