Copy and AdWords – two essentials to make a living

When you emerge from your Olympic daze …

You will still need to make a living.

And frankly, you will probably need to be a lot better at it.

That’s why I’m flying Howie Jacobson, author of AdWords for Dummies over here in October.

Because if you want to get better at anything, you’d better get a whole lot better at two things.

Copy – and AdWords.

You see Google is far more keen on taking money off you than making you rich.

So you need to know what works – and why.

And how you can apply that knowledge to your copy

Mind you, you can always pray for success.

So just in case you have given up on earthly methods we are holding the event at Southwark Cathedral.

There on October 3rd Howie and I will spend a whole day talking about writing that makes money – especially writing that makes money from AdWords.

I’ve made a little introductory video for you.

The cost is about the same as a meal for two at Gordon Ramsay’s.

But the results will last for years.

Because we are going to work with you, not just talk at you.

And I guarantee you’ll go away with at least a dozen new pieces of copy for your business.

I made a few videos about it all, because there’s lots to say.

Here’s the first.

And shortly I’ll be interviewing Howie himself for you.

And also tell you about the unholy way David Ogilvy put religion to work.

A shameless plug. First rule of comedy, Steve – don’t laugh at your own jokes.

  3. I love how your plugs and the way you describe them O ye grand master of direct selling, Sir Bird.

    This one is legendary:
“So just in case you have given up on earthly methods we are holding the event at Southwark Cathedral.”

Wishing I was close enough to attend but you will see in my signature in this comment – my caravan is too far to make it to your oasis. But I pray for your success, although your venue is better suited to do that 😉

Keep up the blogging – enjoying it immensely indeed.
