“Nothing happens in business until something gets sold” – Thomas J. Watson

And this is the man who tells you how to sell – as he taught me

I believe at least 75% of you reading this realise how important it is to be able to do powerful face to face presentations – to sell your ideas, your products, your services.

I know it because last year I asked an audience at one of my seminars and most of the delegates stuck their hands up.

I also know a man who taught me to do better presentations – even though at that time I had already spoken successfully in 39 countries.

His name is Andy Bounds. You can meet him and learn what I learned. But before you do why not read his new book, The Snowball Effect, modestly subtitled Communication techniques to make you unstoppable?

The book aims to make a permanent improvement to how you communicate. I believe it will, because some of the most successful firms in Britain have hired him – and now sing his praises.

The celebrated Brian Tracy says of the book:  “this fast-moving, helpful and practical book shows how to develop instant rapport, connect with the basic interests of the other person, and persuade him/her quickly to your point of view in a warm, professional manner.”

The book contains lots of simple, practical techniques, split into four sections:

  • Persuade people to say “yes” more quickly, more often
  • Enjoy your job more, because you’re calling the shots for a change
  • Remove the communication frustrations you feel all too often
  • Get more done more quickly, by getting people on your side faster
