We’re looking for what they used to call a junior account handler, but that flatters what the job involves.
(The upside is that all the rest of us in our squalid basement- even me – do these demeaning things).
Before I tell you about the benefits, let me tell you what you have to be able to do:
1. Deal with clients day to day, in an efficient and charming manner
2. When not doing that, deal with a multitude of queries that come floating in about where any one of us is or is supposed to be at any point in time.
3. Properly understand, and have a keen interest in direct and online marketing to the point of actually having studied it.
4. Be willing to work insane hours when necessary, make tea, wash-up, remove debris from the steps outside (even I do that) – all for crap money.
5. Have a highly sense of humour and be immune to foul language
5. Read, write and count. Special consideration will be given to those who read books. understand what an apostrophe is and where it should or should not go.
What’s in it for you?
Well, it’s all rather fun really. We deal with many countries, many fascinating people, and do interesting things. You will often be confused, but never bored.
Quite a few people who have started out with me have gone on to make millions – including at least one secretary. Several one-time junior account handlers ended up running large organisations around the world
The person you will report to directly is someone you will learn an immense amount from about every aspect of this business.
Please write a letter telling me why we should employ you. We will reply to all letters.
